Profile Orientation for Immigration

Our profile orientation sessions analyze your work experience, educational background, language skills, and credentials to identify the NOC code corresponding to your occupation, the TEER level that determines your eligibility, and the most viable permanent residency programs for your case. The result is a clear roadmap of your current situation and the concrete steps you must follow to achieve your immigration objective.

NOC and TEER Analysis

The NOC (National Occupational Classification) code and the TEER (Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities) level are the foundation of virtually all economic immigration pathways in Canada. An incorrect classification can result in the refusal of an application or the loss of valuable points in Express Entry.

In this session, we review your employment history in detail to accurately determine the NOC that best represents your actual duties, and we explain what that TEER level means for your permanent residency options, work permits, and provincial programs.

Resume and Cover Letter

A Canadian resume is not simply a translation of your curriculum vitae. It must be structured according to Canadian labor market standards, accurately reflect the duties described in your NOC code, and present your experience in a way that is legible to both employers and immigration officers.

We prepare your resume and cover letter with that dual purpose: positioning you in the Canadian job market and backing your immigration profile with consistent and solid documentation.

This session includes a review of your current profile and concrete recommendations to optimize it according to your immigration and labor strategy.

Professional Profile Optimization

Your profile on LinkedIn and other professional platforms is, in many cases, the first contact a Canadian employer has with you. A well-constructed digital presence —consistent with your resume, aligned with your NOC, and clear about your goals— significantly expands your access to the job market.

Career orientation services are available in two ways:

As part of your active immigration file with Consultoría Canadiense, where profile orientation is integrated into the process from the beginning.

As independent sessions for individuals who wish to assess their situation before starting a formal process, or who already have legal counsel and seek specific support with the employment component.

For professionals who have a clear objective but need support to structure it, anticipate obstacles, and develop a realistic plan. We work on defining short- and long-term goals, labor integration strategies, and preparation for the practical and emotional challenges of a career transition in a new country.

Ulysses Syndrome: Support for the Migratory Experience

Immigrating involves leaving behind a built life —family, career, identity, support networks. For many people, this process generates a significant emotional burden: loneliness, grief, loss of professional identity, and a persistent feeling of not belonging anywhere. This set of experiences is clinically recognized as Ulysses Syndrome.

Our sessions in this area offer a structured and confidential space to name what you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be affecting your well-being and performance, and build concrete strategies to move forward with more clarity and stability.
